I don't have the time to post what I wanted, so I found this gem from the old days of GuitarChaos. I can't find the mastertracks, so this mix will have to do.

It was a collab with me and 17th Moon (Rob)

    The track details:
    Drums: midi fonts
    Bass: I don't remember...midi I think
    Guitars: (gump)
Acoustic: Digitech RP50 acoustic simulator (Jackson Dinky)
Electric: Behringer V-Amp Pro (Jackson Dinky)
    Vox: 17th Moon (Rob)

    Hope y'all enjoy!

Great work guys! A great entry to the 80's comp!

This track certainly has that 80's vibe oozing all over it!

    This is a Rob/Gump entry! ...

Its the track we're voting for so if any one else wants to team up then go for it!!

Got my first speeding ticket while listening to this album, the morning after I saw them in concert.
One of my top ten favorite albums too, Great Radio Controversy.

Great to hear a Tesla cover, as they are so far & few between.

Good luck in the comp!

OLD SCHOOOL GC!!!! I too wish Rob was still around, a great guy and a great musician. I can't remember this? Maybe it was just before my time.

The acoustic sim on the RP50! sounded really cool Mark, I never got mine to sound anywhere near that. Nice overdrive sound you had there too and played great mate!
Rob really got into this track with his vocal performance, some really tough high notes there too. Really enjoyed this!! Best of luck in the comp!

I must have missed this one Mark, my apologies.
This IMO is one of Tesla's best tunes, so catchy, yet never get tired of hearing it.
Love the intro clean tone, dinky sounds killer.
Solos sound excellent, as well as the mix, a very well put together entry.
Best of luck this month Mark, well done!!
    Regards,
    Mike.

Hell yes!!! This is quite possibly one of the first tracks i heard at this place talk about a trip down memory lane. I agree with Andy the acoustic simulator on that digitech sounds pretty convincing. Guitar performances are superb Mark i really enjoy that singing lead tone you got out of the v-amp. Robs vocal fits the track well too i wonder he is getting on I've not spoken to him in yrs. Great cover by too old friends best of luck in the comp guys:awesome:

yea song must not have made the transition... tesla is like one of MY top favorites ever, wanted to hear it!!!

saw them live around 91/92 (Psychotic supper tour I think) firehouse opened for them.. I was about 5 rows from the stage, dead center and the auditorium was small... held maybe 5000 people if that
