Moving a little further way from the usual blues rock, we have a funky jam this time (the name is my little joke Funk'em because it's in E minor..... Funk Em)

It's a nice groovy backer but it splits up awkwardly, into 7 unequal sections, which have different dynamics and lengths:

    section 1: 0'02-1'05 (length 0'63)
    section 2: 1'05-1'25 (length 0'20)
    section 3: 1'25-2'03 (length 0'38)
    section 4: 2'03-2'21 (length 0'18)
    section 5: 2'21-3'17 (length 0'57)
    section 6: 3'17-3'54 (length 0'37)
    section 7: 3'54-4'53 (length 0'59)

Have a listen and see if you are up for it!

If I get less than 7 players I will assign two shorter sections to a player(s). I could also loop it to maybe provide longer sections, or if we get more than 7 players.. thoughts?

    George

I'm sure some new folks will want in on this. But if there is a slot open in a day or 2 I'll sure join in.

This funk jam is bringing out the best of everyone whether they are blues, jazz or rock oriented. Great stuff so far from Supercharged 350, Axe2Grind and Secrets of Steel. Just waiting on Tweekerplated and Stereophony.

I worked out the bpm so I could put a click under one of my solo sections, because the drums dropped out and I kept drifting off the beat when playing.

Anyhow, if any of you are interested, the tempo seems to be 103.22 bpm. What's wrong with these people - don't they like round numbers?

I just put the BT through Riffstation and it just states 103 bpm, looks like your one is more accurate, a bit weird that bpm. Anyhow, your body should be your metronome young man! when I did my take my shoulders were going up and down and my Wife thought I was having some kind of seizure! lol...

Justin - I got to 103 bpm pretty quick, but then I had to iterate back and forth so that both ends of the track were in time.
